HIGHER DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS IN FISHERIES & AQUACULTURE COURSE

Applications are invited from interested participants for the newly titled Higher Diploma in Business in Fisheries & Aquaculture (formerly Aquabusiness) course with applications closing on 3rd September 2021.

Individual Certificate Modules: As per last year’s course, modules can also be taken as individual certificates – this is a useful way to build up course modules and work towards achieving the Higher Diploma. The entry requirements are; Applicants require an NFQ Level 7 or level 8 Award or equivalent in a related discipline. 50% funding is available through BIM for both the full course and individual modules – €2,500 for the full course (€450 for individual module certificates). Blended Learning: The course content of the 2021/2022 academic year will be delivered remotely through blended learning. After the success of the introduction of blended learning being made available online as part of last year’s course, this enabled participants in course to access lectures remotely. This provided a great opportunity for the aquaculture sector in particular, located along the west coast.
